Tanya C. Jackson
Tanya C. Jackson is a partner at Adams St. Advocates.
Tanya has years of experience in senior management roles in both the public and private sector. Most recently, Tanya was the managing director for a big-five management and technology consulting firm, leading a large team of dedicated professionals who brought innovative and cost-saving solutions to their Florida clients. Tanya was named managing director, where she was responsible for Florida’s state, local and higher education business.
With a strong understanding of state government, including procurement and contract management, technology and project management, the appropriations process and public policy development, Tanya understands the strategic approach and client satisfaction necessary for organizations to successfully do business with government.
Tanya began her public service career with the Federal Government’s Department of the Navy and later the Department of Defense as a systems accountant. Tanya subsequently worked as the chief operating officer for a Florida law firm, after which she returned to public service as the legislative affairs director for the Florida Department of Elder Affairs. During her eight-year tenure, Tanya managed the agency’s legislative agenda and was later appointed chief information officer, overseeing human resources, procurement and general services. Tanya also sat on the Governor’s Sterling Council, helping to drive efficiencies and streamlining business processes throughout state government.
Tanya is a graduate of the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary.
