Who We Are

We are champions of the businesses we represent.

Historic downtown Tallahassee’s Adams Street stretches from the Governor’s Mansion to the Florida Capitol and is the center of legislative and political activity in Tallahassee. It is here that meetings take place and business gets done, and is now the home office of Adams St. Advocates.

But, it is more than a street that connects this group, it is a shared philosophy of collaboration and determination. We believe that by engaging our network of experts, we better equip our clients to navigate through the most difficult of problems. And, as our name implies, we are advocates – champions of the businesses we represent. A connecting force that is committed to excellence and to achieving the results our clients not only demand, but also deserve.

Adams St. Advocates is a governmental and business development consulting firm, specializing in responding to Florida’s fluid economic and political landscape. A forward-thinking, client-centered group, we provide extensive management experience in both the public and private sectors and deploy innovative solutions based on thorough analysis and assessment of each client’s needs.

Adams St. Advocates is passionate about helping our clients reach their goals through a collaborative effort, remaining focused on their needs from beginning to end. Simply put, we deliver winning results.

Florida Government Technology Environment

working to elevate

With the administration change following the 2018 Gubernatorial election won by Governor Ron DeSantis, the Department of Management Services has received many new faces and many new statutorily required tasks. In the 2019 legislative Session, the House and Senate passed HB 5301 requiring the Agency for State Technology to be moved within the Department of Management Services as the Division for State Technology, as well as creating a cybersecurity task force and a cloud first policy. As founder and board members of the Florida Technology Council, we had the opportunity to work closely with both the Secretary and his Chief of Staff on this policy change. The energy and commitment this new team has to prioritize and implement effective technology solutions and policy is exciting to say the least. From our past experience, this administration is the first to elevate the importance of technology in the day to day operations and across the enterprise of state government since the days of Governor Jeb Bush.
